During the Dutch/Flemish webinar we had a session in which we shared the extensions people used and what is useful about them. We enjoyed sharing this with each other and we thought this might be useful for the wider community so here is the list of extensions in no particular order:
I would like to organize a digital sprint in the week of 12 April 2021 to update the Developer Guide!
The Developer Guide is a really important information source for new contributors to our community, but also to experienced contributors when information changes. For newbies it is important that they can find information quickly, the documentation is understandable, there are some FAQ's or how-to guides.....I am sure most of us can think of some kind of improvement.
For WordPress sites using CiviCRM, the Caldera Forms plugin provides an excellent form builder which has been extensively integrated with CiviCRM functionality. Enabling you to build sites that go far beyond the "out of the box" form features of CiviCRM like: Make a Donation, Register for an Event, Sign-up to Mailing List.
Coleman Watts will lead a presentation on February 2nd at 4pm UTC (11am US Eastern Time) and provide an update on the latest developments on SearchKit. The presentation will touch on how Form Builder is being used in SearchKit and what the next steps are for both initiatives.
Thanks to everyone who joined us for the January 8 Campfire Chat to discuss successes from 2020, and plans for 2021. Special thanks to Corey Burger with the Greater Victoria Cycling Coalition, and Neil Planchon with the CiviCRM Community Council for helping to organize the event.
Still going door-to-door with printed walk lists or waiting until petitions on your website receive public attention? So much for inefficient data collection.
On February 1st we have planned a CiviCRM Webinar for current users and interested parties. The rest of this blog is in Dutch, since the meetup / webinar is aimed at organisations in Belgium/Flanders and The Netherlands. For English speaking users: we will plan another webinar in March.
Skvare is pleased to announce a beta2 release of CiviCRM Entity 3.0.
New in this release is support for Drupal 9! If you are considering a new website or upgrading your Drupal 7 site, the time is right to build with Drupal 9. We are building websites with CiviCRM, CiviCRM Entity and Drupal 9 now.
